Have you ever played a video game where the opposing team hacks the map to see your every move and win without effort? That is exactly what is about to happen in Virginia—except this is real life, and it’s affecting your future and your wallet.
On April 21st, there is a "special" referendum. Politicians in Richmond are betting that you’re too busy with school, work, or life to show up. They want to change the Virginia Constitution while no one is looking so they can choose their own voters, instead of letting you choose them.
At Imperium Max V, we don’t sugarcoat the truth: this vote is a democratic emergency.
1. The Map Fraud (Gerrymandering 2.0)
Imagine Virginia is a pizza, and each slice is an electoral district. To be fair, those slices are cut based on where people actually live, which happens every 10 years with the Census. That was already done in 2021.
But now, the party in power has decided they don’t like those slices. They want permission to re-cut the pizza RIGHT NOW, in the middle of the decade, simply because the polls aren't looking good for them in 2026. They want to design an artificial victory behind closed doors.

2. A Question Designed to Deceive
When you go to vote, you’ll see pretty phrases like "restoring fairness." Watch out! It’s a linguistic trap. In politics, "fairness" in this context is code for "total control." If you vote YES, you take power away from an Independent Commission and hand it back to the same politicians in the General Assembly. It’s like letting students write and grade their own exams.

3. The $5 Million Cost of Silence
Organizing this "surprise" election in April is costing Virginia taxpayers $5 million. While they tell us there’s no budget for better schools or public safety, they are spending millions on a political maneuver to secure their seats. They are spending YOUR money to silence YOUR voice.
What "YES" and "NO" Actually Mean
If you vote YES ✅ (The Politicians' Plan) | If you vote NO ❌ (Your Citizen Defense) |
Politicians redraw maps to suit their interests. | Current, competitive maps remain in place. |
One party dominates the state (10-1). | Virginia’s diversity of opinion is protected. |
A precedent is set to change the law every year. | You defend the stability of our Constitution. |
Your vote loses its real value. | You assert your power as a citizen. |
"The window for action is now open: early in-person voting is underway through April 18th, or you can cast your ballot on Election Day, April 21st. Remember, every vote carries lasting consequences for our community; therefore, I urge you to vote with the utmost responsibility. Do your own research, use common sense, and look at the track record of these politicians: analyze what they have promised versus what they have actually delivered. Do not let them deceive you with rhetoric about lowering the cost of living while they simultaneously push policies that drive up public spending and devalue your hard-earned income."
Conclusion: The Responsibility of Your Vote
Do not allow yourself to become a spectator of your own destiny. Every vote carries direct consequences for the population; therefore, exercise your right with absolute responsibility. Investigate with rigor before heading to the polls and use common sense as your primary filter.
Look at the track record of these politicians: analyze what they have done in the past, which promises they threw into the wind, and which ones were forgotten. Do not let them deceive you with rhetoric about lowering the cost of living while simultaneously pushing policies that drive up public spending and dilute the value of your income. True discipline and character are demonstrated by questioning power.

This April 21st, don’t let them move the goalposts in the middle of the game. Vote NO.
